Firm:

My client is a successful Advisory firm dealing in the UK mid market space with a leading Debt Advisory business in London. The Debt Advisory practice assists companies and private equity sponsors with raising and refinancing debt. Junior team members work closely with highly experienced professionals as members of lean deal teams providing a broad range of advisory services to the Firm’s clients, with a focus on high profile and complex situations.

Responsibilities:

• Build complex financial, debt and valuation models
• Research, monitor and analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry and economic conditions for use in advising clients
• Evaluate credit documents
• Engage in and manage due diligence processes
• Provide support in managing the overall transaction process and timeline
• Oversee junior team members in the preparation of presentation and transaction materials
• Work closely with senior team members and clients
• Develop and deliver expert knowledge

Qualifications / Experience:

• 2 years+ experience in a leading Investment Bank, Boutique or Credit Fund with a background in leveraged finance / debt advisory with lending or credit ratings process experience preferred
• Demonstrable track record of executing transactions
• Strong financial modelling, finance and accounting skills
• Experience of evaluating capital structure solutions using a range of debt products and market participants
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and enjoy collaborating with others on projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and desire to take initiative
