Overview

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable VP/Director of Paper & Packaging M&A. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions within the paper and packaging industry, and will play a key role in driving M&A strategy forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A initiatives within the paper and packaging industry, including identifying potential targets, conducting due diligence, and negotiating deals
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, including potential acquisition targets, investment banks, and other M&A advisors
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and financial data to identify potential acquisition opportunities and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the strategic fit of potential acquisitions and develop integration plans
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership based on M&A market insights and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Proven track record of leading and executing M&A transactions within the paper and packaging industry
• Deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
