My client is a leading, international, mid-market Investment Bank, with an expanding European office comprised of multiple sector coverage teams. 

The Opportunity

They are currently seeking an experienced FIG M&A Associate for their expanding team, who serves the entire financial services sector including Financial Technology, Insurance, Asset Management and Depositories. Associates work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact to clients’ business through involvement in all facets of investment banking activities including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, equity and debt offerings, and strategic advisory work. They are directly exposed to clients and senior bankers.

- Develop key industry themes, ideas and materials for effective business development

- Assist in the devising and preparation of client materials and in all aspects of execution work

- Participate in the coverage of key clients and interact with senior stakeholders

Requirements:

- Minimum 3+ years Investment Banking / Corporate Finance experience with a deep understanding of financial institutions

- Demonstrable experience of full transaction, deal execution of European projects

- Strong modelling skillset

- Curiosity, appetite for entrepreneurship and willingness to step-up are all essential

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships and rapport

- Motivated, team player with a desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment

- Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
